As a Database Developer your tasks will be:
- Query tuning and optimisation
- Creating new or improve existing functionalities
- Review, test and deploy code to various non-production environments

Keep code base across multiple data centres in sync
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests from other departments
- Evaluate and introduce new development methods and tools that simplify our day-to-day work

Close collaboration with the development and portfolio teams
Project Description
As a Database Developer, you’ll work very closely with the database team of 8 experienced colleagues in our homogenous (SQL Server 2016) database environment which forms the backbone of our products and day-to-day business operations.

What's the required skill-set?
-
5+ years of experience in development using MS SQL server technology
- Database design and architecture
- Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler or other troubleshooting tools
- Understanding of high-volume data tables and highly concurrent transactions
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
- Very good knowledge of TSQL with ability to write complex queries
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Willingness to learn and improve your skills
- Experience working in Agile Development
- Very good command of both spoken and written English
And as a Nice to Have:
- Experience with issues tracking software, version control systems, CI/CD tools
- Database replication
