About the position
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Data Engineer with passion for leveraging Databricks to drive innovation in the banking sector. You'll have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in advancing our Data Science workbench and collaboration platform on the Databricks cloud environment. Salary: up to 4500€ brutto

Location: Bratislava / Kosice, hybrid remote(3:2)

As a Data Engineer, your tasks will be:
- Lead the technical integration of Databricks into our environment, based on technical requirements and design and architecture patterns.
- Evaluate and propose technical solutions for expanding data analytics within Databricks on the MS Azure cloud environment.
- Manage all technical operation activities, ensuring smooth and efficient data processing.
- Proactively solve problems within the team and with vendors to maintain platform stability.
- Drive the stabilization, automation, and enhancement of data ingestion and management processes.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in cloud infrastructure components.
- Strong data modeling skills, with the ability to design and implement efficient, scalable data structures and schemas.
- Advanced expertise in Python and/or Scala, as well as SQL, for complex data engineering tasks.
- Experience implementing end-to-end monitoring and alerting solutions to maintain high-quality services.
- Demonstrated knowledge of data ingestion procedures.
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills in English, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders.
